FAQs
Olympe offers a generous free tier ideal for exploration and prototyping. However, building and maintaining a robust, enterprise-grade platform requires significant resources. Paid subscriptions help fund the development of advanced features, ensure platform stability, and provide dedicated support, enabling us to deliver continuous value to professional teams.
In Olympe, a public library is a collection of reusable components—known as "bricks"—that can be shared across projects. These libraries, which can be either coded or visually designed, are distributed as npm packages, allowing teams to import and leverage them in their own applications. This promotes modularity and accelerates development by reusing proven solutions.
Olympe's Code API enables developers to create custom logic and integrate external libraries using JavaScript or TypeScript. While many functionalities are accessible via API keys, certain advanced features or integrations may require additional authentication or specific permissions, depending on the project's configuration and the services involved.
Olympe employs a "software-as-data" approach, storing applications, components, and user data as structured information within a graph database. This includes your custom components, project configurations, and any associated metadata. This architecture enables dynamic interpretation and execution of applications by the Olympe Virtual Machine.
You retain ownership of the code and components you develop on Olympe. The platform provides tools to build and manage your applications, but the intellectual property rights of your creations remain with you. However, Olympe's proprietary tools and frameworks, such as DRAW and the Olympe Platform itself, are owned by Olympe and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Olympe offers various subscription plans—Basic, Standard, and Premium—each designed to meet different needs. These plans differ in terms of available features, resource allocations, and support levels. For example, higher-tier plans may offer increased storage, more API calls, and access to advanced development tools. You can choose the plan that best aligns with your project's requirements and scale as needed.
